Project March designs an exoskeleton to walk a few steps with Altium

The customer, Project MARCH, is a student team from Delft University of Technology designing a motorized exoskeleton to help people with spinal cord injuries walk. Their challenge was integrating a complex electrical system, including a motor controller for the ankle joints, inside the exoskeleton's metal frame while working closely with mechanical engineers.

Using Altium Designer, specifically its 3D viewer, the team was able to seamlessly collaborate on the mechanical integration of the electrical components to ensure everything fit inside the robotic suit. Altium provided the necessary tools for this interdisciplinary design process, aiding the student team in applying and testing their knowledge to achieve their goal.
