MistyWest helps TZOA scale air quality monitors to 100,000s of units with Altium

MistyWest, an engineering design consulting firm, partnered with their client TZOA (now rebranded as Haven) to overcome the challenge of designing uniquely shaped PCBs for a compact air quality monitoring system. The project required constant iteration and close collaboration between the electrical and mechanical engineering teams, presenting significant design and file-sharing hurdles. They utilized Altium Designer to facilitate this complex development process.

The solution implemented with Altium Designer enabled seamless 3D collaboration and easy file sharing between the teams, which was critical for the product's numerous design pivots. This allowed TZOA and MistyWest to successfully scale the product from a wearable prototype to a market-ready central air monitor, with plans for high-volume production. The use of Altium ensured the teams could efficiently refine their designs and are now preparing to adopt the Altium 365 platform for future projects.
