Agilent-Qianfeng Electronics Technologies Selects Altium Technology as Most Productive Solution for Their New R&D Lab

Agilent-Qianfeng Electronics Technologies, a joint venture between Agilent and Chengdu Qianfeng, opened an R&D lab in Chengdu to capture China’s rapidly growing test & measurement market. The team needed board-level design software that delivered high accuracy and reliability, a very short learning curve, fast iterative development for tight product cycles, and strong local support at a reasonable cost.

After evaluating options, Agilent-Qianfeng selected Altium Designer—deploying a 20-user network license plus four single-user licenses—because of its intuitive operation, high integration, powerful features and cost-effectiveness. With local and global Altium support and training, engineers quickly became productive, began producing board designs for Agilent’s T&M portfolio, and reported improved design efficiency, quality and an ongoing vendor partnership.
