Animo, a coffee machine manufacturer, was developing second-generation OptiLine machines and wanted to speed up product development by bringing more work in-house. To do that, Animo used Altium Designer and Altium 365 to design a new master controller and add more functionality for customers using multiple units.

With Altium 365, Animo could collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and software teams throughout the full development cycle. The next-generation OptiLine machines will include internet and Bluetooth connectivity, a custom Animo user app, and touch-free operation, and Animo expects to complete the new devices in less than a year with Altium’s support.
