Korea Telecom (KT), South Korea’s largest telecommunications provider with over 40 million users, struggled with a legacy database that could not meet the real-time demands of its Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) services amid rapid growth in wireless broadband, WiMAX, Wi‑Fi and mobile/IP devices.
