A Alteryx Case Study
Agfirst BOP, an agricultural testing laboratory serving 2,500 kiwifruit growers across New Zealand, processes up to 1,000 samples of 90 fruit per day at peak. Because test results directly trigger picking, storage and export decisions and are shared with growers via a web portal, Agfirst needed a reliable, scalable way to move results from a service bus to the portal while gaining agility to modify or add tests.
Webtranz implemented Alteryx Server apps that are triggered from a landing warehouse, run batch macros (and call R for advanced analytics), then publish results to a results warehouse for the grower portal. The solution provides modularity for adding/removing tests, supports advanced analytics and multiple data sources, and runs enterprise‑class in the datacentre—delivering scalability, vendor flexibility, infrastructure support and future‑proofing.
