Paychex needed a way to turn sales reps’ downtime between appointments into revenue opportunities by quickly finding nearby clients, CPAs, and prospects for up-sell/cross-sell and referrals. Using Alteryx, the company built the “Paychex Info-on-the-Go” app to deliver location-specific insights to field reps through a mobile-friendly, on-demand analytics experience.
Alteryx implemented an app using spatial data, server/gallery access, macros, and reporting tools to generate maps, tables, predictive scores, and links to Salesforce and Google Maps. The solution gave reps results within seconds, helped them uncover previously unknown opportunities, and during beta led to several new sales from discovered clients, CPAs, and prospects.
