A Alteryx Case Study
The Salvation Army’s Australian territory (Salvos), a large non‑profit tracking thousands of people across many job types, faced a complex Workday migration: consolidating more than 200,000 rows of fragmented, duplicated and unlabeled data for roughly 10,000 workers from multiple legacy systems, spreadsheets and hard‑copy files with no single source of truth — a slow, manual and error‑prone process.
By adopting Alteryx, the team built drag‑and‑drop, repeatable workflows to transform, validate and load data into Workday (and feed third‑party systems), automate real‑time audits and validations, and run payroll parallel tests. The result was a scalable, automated migration process that improved speed (5x), saved over 2,000 hours of manual work to date, and set the team up to scale future phases to tens of thousands more records.
