The Focus on Customer Lifetime Analytics at ReMark International

ReMark International, led by Chief Actuary Mandy Luo, is an early adopter of predictive modeling in life insurance and wanted to move beyond single‑event metrics to customer lifetime analytics. The challenge was to join predictive models for customer response, conversion and lapse across pre‑ and post‑sales data to identify the strongest drivers of buying, paying and staying behavior.

The team matched over a year of de‑personalized post‑sales tracking with sales, payment and marketing data, built three predictive models (sale, first‑premium conversion, and 1‑year persistency), compared results by customer segments, and exported visualizations to Tableau for scoring and optimization tests. The work produced actionable segments based on propensity to buy, pay and retain, demonstrated ReMark’s end‑to‑end analytics capability, and enabled targeted optimization across the customer lifecycle.
