TE Connectivity built an HR Analytics Center of Excellence to turn fragmented employee data (Excel, iCIMS, Oracle, Access) into a single source of truth, improve data quality and governance, and shift the analytics team from reactive order-takers to proactive, consultative partners able to drive workforce strategy and scenario-based decisions.

They launched Vizion — an on-demand HR analytics portal powered by Alteryx and Tableau Server — to centralize data, automate ETL into a Hadoop cluster via repeatable workflows and APIs, and provide self-service dashboards. Outcomes included standardized data preparation, certified Alteryx workflows, a quarterly Q score to increase transparency and accountability, faster delivery of insights, the ability to tackle complex HR questions, and a Vizion Community for knowledge sharing.
