Shifting the Process of Schools Quality Assessment in Thailand from Weeks to Hours Using Alteryx

ONESQA (Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment) is Thailand’s independent agency responsible for externally assessing education institutions and must appraise more than 60,000 schools, pre-schools and vocational schools annually. Matching over 1,000 assessors to the right schools by region, role and conflict-of-interest rules was previously done manually or outsourced, taking weeks, requiring a 12-person team and producing frequent errors.

Working with partner STelligence, ONESQA implemented Alteryx for data prep, blending and automated matching of assessor profiles to schools, and pushed results into Tableau for visualization and capacity planning. The automated workflows cut the process from weeks to hours, reduced errors, improved data reliability, revealed assessor shortages, and trimmed staffing needs from 12 people to a single operator.
