Republiq worked with the municipality of Amsterdam as it reformed a century-old ground lease system, a change that could affect more than 400,000 homeowners. The team needed to assess the financial impact across the city—analyzing and valuing over 280,000 individual ground leases (totaling more than €5 billion)—by cleaning and combining more than ten disparate datasets to power an online portal offering personalized lease conversion offers.

Using Alteryx, two consultants quickly built a scalable workflow to merge large CSVs, perform complex property valuations (including street- and neighborhood-level comparables), and produce database-ready outputs and spatial files. The solution delivered citywide insights in months instead of the year originally expected, cut calculation time from hours to minutes, and now supports the municipality’s portal and follow-on valuation projects.
