Publicis Groupe, a global communications and media holding company, faced slow, error-prone reporting across its agencies. Aazim Haque, Manager of Analytics at Publicis Media, needed to replace a manual, multi-step process that took about 11 hours per query (and up to three days to merge 86 Excel files) to convince senior management to invest in Alteryx.

They built end-to-end Alteryx workflows (first in six days, a campaign workflow in four) that automated data extraction, transformation and reporting, removing manual file copying and Excel complexity. The change cut a query from 11 to 4.5 hours, turned a 3‑day merge into a 30‑second run, and delivered major speed gains (14x in the initial pilot and 2,880x for campaign reports), improved accuracy, and capacity to scale into predictive, spatial and server-based applications.
