Intermountain Healthcare, a large not-for-profit health system, needed a better way to unify more than 100 HR metrics that had been spread across 14 separate reports and dashboards. Using Alteryx, the Enterprise HR Employee Analytics team set out to build a Workforce Optimization Dashboard and Scorecard that would give leaders a single, comprehensive view of workforce data.

Alteryx helped the team combine data from 17 Oracle tables and third-party benchmark sources into one performant dataset for Tableau Server, making development faster and the dashboard easier to maintain. The result was a single location for workforce metrics, faster analysis, and benchmarking against internal and national data, with estimated cost savings of more than $25,000 to date and further savings expected.
