Mr Price Gets Back 500 Hours a Week with Alteryx

Mr Price, a South African retail group with 1,300+ stores across 11 countries, faced rapidly growing and fragmented reporting needs that their Excel-based processes and small analytics team couldn’t keep up with. Frequent store openings and disparate data sources left insight generation slow, inconsistent and largely dependent on IT and a few analysts despite having clean data in Snowflake.

MRP deployed Alteryx to ingest, replicate and orchestrate data from transactions, promotions, logistics, social and more into Snowflake, packaging the migration and transformation steps into reusable macros and scheduled Alteryx Server workflows that feed Tableau. The change automated modeling and reporting at scale, enabled self-service analytics (even on very large tables — ~1.6B rows), and saved about 16 hours per user per week (roughly 500 hours/week across ~35 users), eliminating manual prep and accelerating business insight.
