Quigley‑Simpson, an advertising agency operating in a highly fragmented media market, needed a way to manage dozens of disparate data sets and support many teams with varying reporting needs. The Media Operations team was charged with turning large, fast‑changing data streams into actionable insights while replacing slow, error‑prone manual processes.
They deployed Alteryx Server to build easy‑to‑use analytic apps that blend client first‑party data with Nielsen, digital/social, GfK MRI, TiVo, shopper loyalty, AdTricity, comScore and other sources, and prep outputs for Tableau. The apps standardized reporting, sped up workflows (one app now creates 50 reports in under 3 minutes versus a day), supported spatial Programmatic TV analysis, and saved thousands of hours—4,227 hours in 2016—across 44 apps and 1,794 runs, improving accuracy, onboarding and team productivity.
