Iron Mountain, a global leader in records and information management, needed better analytics to fill warehouses, validate large upfront racking investments, and give commercial, real estate and finance teams visibility into historic pipeline trends, facility capacity and product profitability. Existing Salesforce exports to Excel only showed point-in-time snapshots, leaving teams unable to forecast, measure salesperson performance over time, or decide where to grow or rationalize real estate.

They implemented Alteryx Designer with the Salesforce connector and worked with InterWorks to build workflows that produce five key sales metrics (demand generation, pipeline coverage and health, win conversion and forecasting), and used Alteryx Spatial Tools with the Google Maps API to group 1,500 facilities by location. Weekly Tableau dashboards are now used by ~200 people (about 80% of CEOs/regional MDs and 100% of regional support), providing capacity and win-rate predictions that support faster decisions and correlate with stronger results: 109% of sales target, 151% YTD wins, and +73% wins vs. last year.
