Hyundai Motor America needed to speed up detection and resolution of vehicle quality issues so it could protect customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Analysts were spending the bulk of their time on data prep and reporting using SAS, SQL and Excel, and Tableau dashboards were hampered by slow, manual extract processes — a time problem that delayed insights and action across the business.
The team implemented Alteryx alongside Tableau to blend transactional, call center, survey and third‑party data (using Alteryx In‑DB tools), automate workflows and generate Tableau extracts. The initiative produced 78 workflows (5,774 Alteryx nodes) with scheduled automation, delivered daily interactive dashboards, and reduced manual effort by about 1,764 hours per year (~71% time savings), cutting analysis from weeks to hours and enabling faster campaigns, real‑time stakeholder response, and improved customer outcomes.
