PepsiCo needed a faster way to calibrate sales forecasting across retailers, but its Microsoft Access and Excel-based process was slow, fragmented, and limited by spreadsheet size. Using Alteryx Designer Cloud, PepsiCo had to manage diverse retailer data formats and methods while trying to avoid under- or over-supplying product.

Alteryx helped PepsiCo centralize data in Microsoft Azure, standardize and prepare retailer data more quickly, and visualize it in Tableau. The result was a 70% reduction in reporting time, 90% faster dashboard builds for new customers, and $7M in order processing errors proactively resolved, while analysts spent more time on analysis and trend prediction.
