A Alteryx Case Study
Ulusal Faktoring, a Turkish factoring firm handling roughly 2,000 cheques and notes daily, needed near–real-time credit decisioning for cheque-to-cash transactions. Each transaction can involve up to 12 counterparties and about 1,700 data points drawn from multiple internal and external sources (RFM customer data, credit bureaus, central bank cheque history, fraud and collections), producing 30–40 million rows to blend — a volume and complexity that made manual underwriting slow, inconsistent and impractical.
Using Alteryx Designer with in-database workflows on Oracle and Random Forest models, the team built an automated ETL and scoring pipeline that reduced data preparation from about a month to 3–4 hours and generates per-transaction default probabilities and dynamic discount-rate estimates. The result: instant, objective accept/reject decisions and risk-based pricing without human intervention, enabling higher throughput, consistent pricing and easier integration with digital and mobile services.
