Change Grow Live, the UK’s largest provider of drug and alcohol support services, was struggling to keep up with rapid growth and an increasing volume of monthly and quarterly reporting in Excel. The manual process was time-consuming, repetitive, and error-prone, leaving the data team less able to focus on deeper analysis and faster responses for frontline and executive decision-making.

Change Grow Live worked with Alteryx, using Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server alongside Tableau, to automate reporting and build workflows that pull data from multiple systems into a holistic view of users and services. The result was major time savings: a key “Structured Treatment Report” that once took most of a week each month now takes less than a minute, and reports that were monthly during COVID were switched to daily, improving support for vulnerable service users.
