MindBody, a cloud-based SaaS provider for the wellness industry serving millions of consumers worldwide, faced fragmented teams, hundreds of thousands of per-customer databases and 200+ disparate data assets. That fragmentation meant teams spent 80–90% of their time just gathering and cleaning data, and they were exposed to high churn from business closures that could trigger costly chargebacks.

To address this, MindBody combined Alteryx Designer with Python (Scikit‑learn) to build an automated churn-prediction pipeline—training models, storing artifacts on S3, running quick logistic regressions, and emailing weekly high‑risk lists to frontline teams so accounts can be paused to prevent chargebacks. They use Alteryx Connect for data governance, cataloging and model monitoring, which reduced risk exposure, consolidated tooling, and democratized analytics so non-experts can contribute to predictive solutions.
