With Alteryx, Big Lots blended receipt, freight, and order data to automate logistics reporting and optimize parcel routing. The solution reduced an inbound logistics process from up to three days to less than ten minutes, identified more than 2,000 POs in seconds, and uncovered cost savings opportunities of up to 11% of inbound freight spend. Big Lots also cut daily parcel routing work from 2–3 hours to under 30 minutes and improved on-time peak performance from 98.5% to 99.4%.
