Ansira, a full-service marketing agency, relied on massive consumer datasets (Acxiom/Experian) to build customer profiles but the manual Excel-based process—covering 400+ variables across 200M+ records—took about two weeks from data formatting to a usable report. The Analytics team needed a faster, standardized way to produce interpretable profiles for new-business pitches and time-sensitive client initiatives.

Using Alteryx, Ansira built an automated Customer Profiling workflow that appends Acxiom variables, samples and compares against the U.S. population, indexes results by category (Demographics, Shopping, Hobbies, Financial), and generates an eight-page PDF with conditional formatting in hours instead of weeks. The new process enables same-day delivery of in-depth profiles, speeds strategic decision-making across teams, and contributed to higher scores for Ansira in recent Forrester Wave evaluations.
