The Texas Rangers, a Major League Baseball team, needed a scalable data strategy for their new stadium because their existing manual processes and disconnected data sources were too slow and inaccurate to handle the larger volume of operations data. They worked with Alteryx, alongside consulting partner Resultant, to modernize their approach and support real-time stadium operations and better fan experiences.
Alteryx helped the Texas Rangers implement Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server to automate data extraction, build a data lake, and create a single source of truth for game-day analytics. As a result, end-of-game reporting dropped from overnight work to within an hour of game completion, with near-real-time updates during games on parking, ticket scans, concessions, retail sales, and operational hot spots—improving response times, revenue insights, and overall stadium operations.
