Using Alteryx, the team built SQL-driven workflows and batch macros to query the information schema, auto-generate source‑to‑target documentation into Excel templates, and run a two‑step test plan—metadata comparison and randomized sample data validation (leveraging dynamic SQL and a modified CReW Expect Equal macro). The solution eliminated days of busy work, freed analysts and IT for higher‑value tasks, sparked cross‑department interest (Finance), and delivered faster proofs of concept and measurable career benefits for the team.
