Fauna & Flora creates a 3-language carbon market animation with Alternative View Studios

Alternative View Studios was engaged by Fauna & Flora, an international wildlife conservation charity, to create an educational animation. The challenge was to explain the complex concept of the carbon market and the REDD+ programme to Indigenous communities in West and Central Africa, ensuring the content was accessible without being overly simplistic.

The solution implemented by Alternative View Studios was a collaboratively developed animation produced in English, French, and local languages. They worked with a technical specialist to simplify the script and used realistic reference imagery to ensure the visuals were relatable. The final animation provided a nuanced introduction to the carbon market, empowering local communities to make informed decisions about their participation.
