The Children’s Clinic, a physician-owned pediatric practice, was seeking to improve practice efficiency and maximize time with patients. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Altera Digital Health and implemented the CHADIS system, which integrates with their Allscripts Professional EHR.

Altera Digital Health's CHADIS solution automated the pre-visit process by having patients complete questionnaires electronically from home. The system scores these forms and integrates the data directly into the EHR. This provided an excellent return on investment, with the clinic's annual reimbursement revenue from just four questionnaires becoming more than eight times their investment in the CHADIS service. The interface also streamlined workflows and enabled the collection of over 620,000 data points.
