Alteia worked with a Leading Technology Provider, an EPC leader in the energy industry, that needed a better way to monitor progress on complex infrastructure projects and manage 4D BIM across the full project lifecycle. The customer was looking for an integrated solution to link BIM elements to schedule activities, generate 3D point clouds from drone images and 360° video, and support as-built vs. as-designed comparisons from site works through commissioning.

Alteia built a construction monitoring app on its platform to provide as-built vs. as-designed evaluations, 3D visualization, engineering information completeness verification, and AI-assisted identification of sub equipment. The solution used plant design files and aerial drone surveys to show visual progress, enable markups and measurements, and deliver progress and deviation insights to engineering and project teams, helping improve field acceptance and support schedule control, though no specific quantitative results were provided.
