Social Security Accountants Unlock Data Insights with Altair

Caisse Nationale d'Allocations Familiales (CNAF), the French social security agency that distributes family allowance funds to more than 10 million beneficiaries, faced a labor‑intensive workflow: benefit data existed only in text formats and lists, not Excel, making extraction and analysis slow and error‑prone. After early positive trials with Altair’s Monarch Desktop, CNAF needed a scalable way to accelerate nightly processing and make data accessible to its local offices and accountants.

Altair implemented a single Monarch license and Monarch Server across 102 local CAF offices to automate data extraction and distribution; today Monarch runs more than 195 automated processes each night on up to 8,000 files (about 4 GB), delivering results via a secure DMS to roughly 450 accountants. The Altair solution eliminated manual PDF/text searching, saved thousands of hours of modeling and extraction time, improved data security and reporting speed, and freed accountants to focus on higher‑value analysis.
