PUNCH Torino S.P.A, a designer and developer of propulsion systems and control solutions, needed a new high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure after joining PUNCH Group. Wanting to avoid the expense and upkeep of on‑premises data centers, they opted for a complex multi‑vendor cloud architecture and engaged Altair to provide HPC expertise and tools, including Altair PBS Professional, Altair Control, and Altair Access.

Altair planned, implemented, and configured a cloud HPC architecture spanning Google Cloud, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and AWS, enabling optimized workload management, cloud bursting, monitoring, and an easy user portal; the project was completed in just a few weeks without disrupting users.
