A Altair Case Study
Logix Federal Credit Union, one of the largest U.S. credit unions with more than 800 employees, 17 branches, roughly 250,000 members and nearly $10 billion in assets, faced a daily challenge of extracting, cleansing and joining data from multiple systems (including Jack Henry’s Symitar Episys, Velera, Multiview ERP, Sectran Security and Dovenmuehle). Manual consolidation of varied report formats was time-consuming and error-prone, so Logix turned to Altair and its Altair® Monarch® data preparation software to automate and streamline those processes.
Altair implemented Monarch — a self-service tool that extracts and transforms data from PDFs, spreadsheets, mainframes and databases — and Altair experts helped Logix build three daily balancing journal-entry models in three one-hour sessions. The result: daily workflows that once took more than an hour now run in under 10 minutes (an 83% time reduction), with fewer errors, broader use of Monarch’s prebuilt models across systems, and improved operational visibility and profitability — all delivered by Altair.
