Euro-Pro Embraces Simulation-Driven Design with Altair HyperWorks

Euro-Pro, a fast‑growing consumer products manufacturer known for brands like Ninja and Shark, faced heavy reliance on physical prototyping and limited CAE capability in R&D. To adopt a simulation‑driven design philosophy for drop tests, durability, and fluid performance, Euro‑Pro engaged Altair and began using HyperWorks solvers—RADIOSS, OptiStruct and AcuSolve—accessed via HyperWorks On‑Demand HPC.

Altair implemented HyperWorks workflows (HyperMesh for geometry cleanup/meshing plus RADIOSS, OptiStruct and AcuSolve running on HyperWorks On‑Demand), cutting meshing time by about 50% and enabling far more virtual tests. The result was fewer physical iterations, clearer root‑cause insight, prevented manufacturing failures, reduced rework and costs, and shorter time‑to‑market; Euro‑Pro also established a CAE center of excellence to broaden simulation use across product lines. Altair’s single‑vendor model and support accelerated adoption and measurable improvements in testing efficiency and product quality.
