A Altair Case Study
Vortex Bladeless faced the challenge of validating advanced human‑machine interfaces, driver‑assistance and automated systems, plus system‑level prototyping and operations planning, without the expense and delay of physical prototypes. To engage clients and operators in realistic testing—across high‑risk, remote or impractical worksites—they needed immersive, human‑in‑the‑loop simulation and effective ways to demonstrate machine performance. Altair provided this capability using Vortex Studio.
Altair implemented Vortex Studio to deliver real‑time, interactive, system‑level simulations—driver‑in‑the‑loop simulators, a hyper‑realistic virtual sandbox for machine prototyping, and virtual operations planning and demo environments. As a result, Vortex Bladeless could validate ergonomics, controls and ADAS configurations with users in the loop, reduce reliance on physical prototypes, lower engineering costs and speed time‑to‑market, and improve stakeholder communication, training and operational readiness. Altair’s solution enabled reproducible procedures and clearer commercial demonstrations without field prototypes.
