SANY Group, an internationally renowned manufacturer of construction machinery, faced the challenge of managing simulation across a wide variety of products and needed a dedicated simulation data management (SDM) platform to address unstructured data, low automation, and poor design–simulation collaboration. To modernize its simulation and HPC workflows, SANY turned to Altair, building on nearly a decade of using Altair HyperWorks and Altair HPCWorks and selecting the Altair Simulation Cloud Suite for a tailored SDM solution.

Altair implemented the Altair Simulation Cloud Suite, initially in SANY’s pumping division, integrating PLM, HPC, and multiple simulation and design tools to standardize processes, centralize data, and automate workflows. Following expansion to port, heavy machinery, lifting, truck and equipment divisions, SANY now has 100% online integrated management of simulation processes and data, with modeling and analysis efficiency improving by 3 to 10 times in validation scenarios and gains in automation, parameterization, and centralized software/hardware management.
