The company needed a standardized decision‑support capability to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time for engineering, cost and production decisions.

Using Altair SmartSight (part of Altair SmartWorks), Mahindra aggregated data from multiple systems into interactive, role‑based dashboards with live feeds and drag‑and‑drop KPI creation. The platform automated production planning and engineering workflows, drastically reduced data consolidation effort, improved data consistency, security and transparency, and accelerated decision‑making across product management, integration, weight/balance and cost teams.
