A global automotive parts supplier with hundreds of manufacturing and engineering centers worldwide faced a complex reporting and invoicing challenge when opening a new U.S. plant: orders are invoiced by individual components (often 100–250 parts per vehicle), each component must be mapped to the vehicle VIN, and data came from many disparate systems and formats. Poor inventory controls and slow, manual reconciliation threatened accuracy, timeliness, and integration with automated B2B payment processes across roughly 300K monthly transactions.

The company deployed Altair Monarch self-service data-preparation to extract, compare and validate component, production and shipment data across MES, ERP and shipping systems.
