A Alphapod Case Study
Fio, a holistic fitness app co-founded by wellness influencer Joanna Soh, faced the challenge of helping users overcome common obstacles to a healthy lifestyle, including busy schedules, loss of motivation, and a lack of lasting results. The app needed to break stereotypes about unattainable fitness standards and provide a cohesive, sustainable plan. Alphapod was engaged to provide comprehensive services including discovery, strategy, UI/UX design, and full-stack development for the mobile and web applications.
Alphapod developed the "3-2-1-FIT" solution, a daily 60-minute formula combining 30 minutes of exercise, 20 minutes for nutrition, and 10 minutes for mindfulness. This approach provided users with guided monthly programs and expert instruction within the app. The solution implemented by Alphapod yielded significant results, including a global reach of over 200 user countries, 470,000 workouts performed, and 4,000 active subscriptions as of January 2024, with steady year-on-year growth in both user base and revenue.
