Canadian Deposit Insurance Company modernizes digital experience with Alphabet, reducing navigation depth and improving search

The Canadian Deposit Insurance Company (CDIC), a federal Crown corporation, needed to modernize its visual identity and website to remain neutral, credible, and instantly recognizable to all Canadians. Partnering with Alphabet®, CDIC sought a clear, accessible, and intuitive solution that would modernize the brand without undermining public trust.

Alphabet® delivered a comprehensive solution including a new brand strategy, visual identity, and web development. The updated identity, centered on a distinctive purple color and a protective capsule graphic mark, was validated through national focus groups. Alphabet® also rebuilt the website with a user-first approach, simplifying navigation and improving search functionality to make complex information easier to find. The result is a cohesive and trusted system that works across all platforms, from physical decals to banking apps.
