University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital - Customer Case Study

The University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital needed a flexible audiovisual environment for its Wilf Family Center that could support information sharing across the facility and region, while also creating a welcoming auditorium where children and families could enjoy time together. Alpha Video was brought in to design and integrate the audio and video systems for the center, including the auditorium, telehealth room, and meeting spaces.

Alpha Video delivered a 203-seat auditorium with an 18-display LED video wall, projector and motorized screen, PTZ cameras, microphones, Crestron control, Cisco videoconferencing, and surround sound, plus fully equipped meeting rooms and a dedicated telehealth room. The result was a versatile communication hub for meetings, broadcasting, streaming, and telehealth, while also providing a positive, entertaining space that supports the healing experience for patients and families.
