Twin Cities Public Television - Customer Case Study

Twin Cities Public Television (TPT) undertook a major $20M renovation of its downtown St. Paul offices to improve accessibility, collaboration, and the visitor experience. With a lobby originally hidden on the second floor and an office layout that made it difficult for employees to find one another and work together, TPT needed a more open, flexible environment. Alpha Video was brought in to help integrate the audio and video systems across the renovated facility, including the new street-level performance space, lobby, boardroom, and conference areas.

Alpha Video designed and installed a fully integrated AV and control solution featuring Crestron Digital Media Control, Sony projectors and cameras, Sharp displays, Biamp audio processing, and room-specific collaboration tools. The result was a transformed facility with a 200-person performance space, a Studio Atrium for showcasing digital content, and more than 35 meeting spaces supported by consistent, easy-to-use presentation systems. Alpha Video also created custom GUI control interfaces and simple room controls, enabling one person to manage systems in the performance space and helping TPT streamline scheduling, content playback, and wireless collaboration throughout the building.
