Minnesota State University Mankato - Customer Case Study

Minnesota State University Mankato’s Construction Management program wanted to better support project-based learning and collaborative classroom instruction. To do that, the university partnered with Alpha Video to design and integrate a modern collaborative learning environment that would help students work together more like they would in the real construction industry.

Alpha Video implemented a classroom system centered on seven student collaboration tables and one instructor station, using Kramer HDMI switching and room control, Crestron DigitalMedia control and scaling, Sony projectors, Da-Lite screens, and a Vaddio HD document camera. The result was a flexible classroom where instructors can route high-resolution content to any or all displays with one touch, making it easier to share drawings, documents, and student work across the room and strengthening the school’s project-based teaching model.
