Minnesota State Capitol needed to relocate its Senate and House broadcast systems during the Capitol Restoration Project and take the opportunity to upgrade from analog to HD video and digital audio. Alpha Video was brought in to design and integrate new broadcast systems that would support high-quality legislative communications for citizens across Minnesota.

Alpha Video implemented two state-of-the-art broadcast control rooms, an equipment room, and a fiber video network connecting the Capitol and State Office Building. The solution included Ross Video, Grass Valley, Miranda, Sony, and Panasonic equipment, enabling statewide live broadcasts, streaming to the Internet, post-production programming, and archiving of legislative activity.
