Fairview Health Services needed a flexible, secure conferencing solution for its historic downtown Minneapolis boardroom. The space had to support easy table rearrangement, reliable teleconferencing, and future videoconferencing upgrades without disrupting the room’s appearance or the building’s architectural character. Alpha Video was brought in to design and install the system, using Audio-Technica’s SpectraPulse UWB Wireless Microphone System.

Alpha Video implemented a wireless microphone solution that avoided the need for visible ceiling mics or fixed wiring while addressing RF congestion and security concerns. By using SpectraPulse in the 1.9GHz ISM band with tightly synchronized transmission, the system delivered a continuous, uninterrupted audio feed with reduced risk of interference or eavesdropping. The result was a modern, confidential boardroom communications setup that preserved the room’s flexible layout and historic look.
