Rev1 Power Services, a global leader in power industry staffing and project services, relied on a Microsoft Access desktop database that became too fragile and limited for its field work. The company needed a more open, web- and mobile-friendly platform with offline capability to support technicians working on large power-plant projects and to improve productivity and data accuracy.
Rev1 migrated the system to Alpha Anywhere, building web and mobile apps (with offline sync) tied to a MySQL backend and planned Primavera integration. The new solution tracks hardware and test results, eliminates handwritten field notes, and can be deployed quickly at remote sites — shrinking work that once took four months to about a week, improving data accuracy, and allowing the team to do more with fewer IT staff.
