Banana Accounting launches on Linux Snap store with Alora Labs

The customer, Banana Accounting, faced a significant challenge in distributing its accounting software across the many different versions and distributions of Linux. Their previous attempts to package the software using Snaps had been unsuccessful. Alora Labs was engaged to provide a deployment automation solution to overcome this problem.

Alora Labs implemented a solution using the Snapcraft framework and its build service. They set up the necessary configuration and continuous integration scripts to successfully bundle the software and its dependencies into a single Snap package for distribution. This allowed Banana Accounting to seamlessly distribute its application on the Snap store, making it easily installable for users on any Linux distribution.
