Webster First Financial Credit Union, a fast-growing New England credit union with 15 branches and more than $855M in assets, needed to simplify and automate consumer lending as it prepared for changing member demographics. Its legacy loan origination system was creating inconsistent application data across channels, slowing closings, and limiting growth across mobile, web, branch, and indirect lending.
To solve this, Webster First implemented Alogent’s FinanceGenius, a cloud-based loan origination system designed for flexibility, mobile applications, and consistent auto-decisioning. The new platform reduced IT burden, improved process consistency, and helped the credit union exceed expectations: loan applications increased 89% year over year in the first three months, rising from 271 to 511, while loan volume grew 9.7% to $9.87M.
