Blue Eagle Credit Union partnered with **Alogent** to replace legacy, paper-based processes that were slowing growth, service, and loan handling across its four branches. After expanding to a multiple common bond charter, the credit union needed a more efficient way to manage documents, support members faster, and reduce costly physical records storage and transport. It selected **Alogent’s FASTdocs 5** enterprise content management (ECM) platform, along with related e-signature and capture capabilities, to create a more streamlined, member-centric workflow.
Alogent implemented FASTdocs 5 with Blue Eagle, helping define document structures and redesign workflows so staff could scan, store, search, and retrieve information electronically across departments. The result was faster access to records, a dramatic reduction in courier time, improved loss prevention, and streamlined loan processing. Blue Eagle also cut paper use for loan processing by at least 50% and expected to reduce it by another 50% by the end of 2014, while also capturing new sales opportunities and improving productivity.
