St. Ignatius College Prep increases their giving day donations by 80%

St. Ignatius College Preparatory, a private Catholic prep school with over 16,000 alumni, faced a tedious, mobile-unfriendly giving day experience, low alumni participation, limited advancement staff and heavy dependence on IT. To address this, St. Ignatius partnered with Almabase to deploy a mobile‑optimized online giving platform incorporating giving pages, peer‑to‑peer and social fundraising features, and Raiser’s Edge integration to streamline donations and alumni outreach.

Using Almabase’s giving pages, peer‑to‑peer tools, social sharing and targeted email capabilities, St. Ignatius simplified the donor journey and automated data flow into Raiser’s Edge. The results: giving day donations rose from $140K in 2016 to $257K in 2017 (an 80% increase), total donors grew 60% to 1,263 (394 donors came via peer‑to‑peer), 53% of gifts were from mobile, total raised was $257,123 (average gift $203.58) and influencers generated $37,191—along with campaign wins like the Extra Mile drive (+204 donors, +$34,425).
