William Peace University worked with Almabase to adapt its first-ever Founder’s Day of Giving when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the university to send students home and cancel in-person campus events mid-campaign. The Advancement Office also needed to address increased financial-aid needs, engage a disengaged alumni base, and do it all with a very small staff.
Using Almabase, William Peace University quickly moved the giving campaign online with a branded giving page, coordinated email and social outreach, gift challenges, and class leaderboards, while also launching virtual engagement activities. The campaign raised $42,832.27 from 217 donors and exceeded its fundraising goal by 230%, setting a new university record and helping the school successfully run its first virtual Giving Day.
